Premiership Predictions 2008/2009
For those of you that have not played Premiership Predictions before, here's your chance to sign up. Just email me at this address, and I can add you to the distribution list.
The cost is only £20 for the whole season, payable in advance.
Each week, I send every player an excel spreadsheet featuring the 10 Premiership matches being played that week. All they have to do is enter their PIN number (new players get one once they have paid), predict the scores for those games and send it back to me - It's really simple! Each weekly winner wins £50 and there is also prize money for the leading players at the end of the season. There's even a free Predictions Cup competition so that you can take on other players head to head!
Via the links on the right, you can see how all the leagues finished last season. There's not just an OVERALL league (which was won by a chap called Nick Scraggs) but also 24 minileagues. Next season, I'd like to get every player into a minileague and I'm happy to set up some new ones. You need a minimum of 10 players to have a minileague.
There's also a link called How You score Pts, and another called The Available Prizes where you can see what the prize money was last season. Hopefully the prize pot will be even higher next season!
Last season over 500 people played, including 5 famous ex professional footballers. What most of them tell me they enjoy most about this game is that the pts you score literally change every time a goal is scored. You can go from hero to zero in a matter of minutes! And no matter how far down the table you may be, you can still win a week and have your moment of glory!
