WEEK 30 - Calm Down, Calm Down!

One of those weekends we neutrals with nothing to play for all love! Liverpool are on fire right now, Utd can only respond with temper tantrums and Chelsea get schloppy. Well done to the single person amongst who you predicted a 2-0 win for Fulham (alas, I can't tell who unless I look through every single sheet personally - no chance!) That's a great prediction, but can you call this one too? What injury will Stevie G pick up in the next day or so that makes him pull out of the England game next weekend? Groin Strain whilst warming down? Calf strain in light training? Tread on a rusty nail whilst getting out of bed? Night club fracas involving Rio Ferdinand that mysteriously keeps the pair of them out? 50 pts for anyone who can name it :)

Back in the land of Prem Predictions, We have the 4th new leader in 4 weeks! Gareth Rossiter has come from nowhere and now leads fellow Bodger, Mark Edwards, by 19 pts. Just to prove how tight it is up there, our last leader, Richard Webb, posts an average score, but falls to 6th! This week's winner is Lee Andrews - one of only four of you who managed 200+ in what was a pretty unpredictable week. Well done mate! All the usual stats below. Atb, Ciro

WEEK 29 - A total travesty

Well, if you've got a blog at your disposal, use it I say! 2 seasons ago, West Ham should have been docked points. They weren't (that was upto the FA) and they stayed up. Yet they now have to pay £25m for that privilege. If at all, Sheff Utd should have sued the FA for being incompetent..NOT the Hammers for winning more pts than they did (Having already been fined a record £5.5m). It's a disgrace that some Lord with no understanding of football made this ruling. How can you really judge what contribution a single player has made? That is insulting to the other 10 who were brilliant in that run-in. What about all the pts the club lost when he was in the team and was a stone overweight? What about the 3-0 defeat at Bramhall Lane when Tevez had a stinker? And now the Sheff Utd players and their total **** of an ex manager, who weren't good enough to stay up despite having a 10 pt lead over West Ham with 6 games left, want compensation too??! What next? Do clubs sue referees for bad decisions? Do you sue players who cheat and win a crucial penalty? Why didn't Spurs sue the hotel that gave them food poisoning and cost them a Champions League place a few years ago? It's a joke.

Right, am forgetting why you are all here! Another new leader this week as Richard Webb moves from 5th to top spot, With 9 weeks of the season left, this is a great time to go to the top & with the gap between the top 10 remaining less than 100 each week, anyone can do the same with one great score. Well done to Andrew York,, who is our latest weekly winner (thanks to his bonus choice) and I fancy the remaining weekly winners will all probably be people not in the title race, but who take a few risks. Cup news and all the usual stats below. Atb, Ciro

PES Cup - Round 4
