Despite having more strikers than French Air Traffic Control, I'm fearing the worst. There's still plenty to play for, though the title race now looks like a 2 horse race again (sorry Gooners!). However, I can safely say that one issue has already been decided. And I'm glad to say that one of you predictors has triumphed. Well done to player 179, Max Rushden, who wins the "Foot in mouth award 2009/10" for this cracker on Soccer AM this Saturday: Trevor Nelson: "I had Stevie Wonder's number on my mobile phone but lost it when the phone broke". Max: "Stevie, if you're watching, please get in touch with your number"
Also far from being decided is the Predictions league, especially as we have a new leader. After 9 weeks of brilliant consistency, Steve Johnston finally succumbs, and Jason Nicholas is now on top - but only by 2 pts! John Chilton is only a further 9 pts behind whilst creeping up the rails in 4th is Gary Martin, who was champion predictor back in 2000/01 (and has won both the Predictions Cup too and World Cup Predictions in 2006!) - Can this veteran (well, he's 42) add to his trophy cabinet? (even though there are no trophies)
Predictions Cup Round 2 Results
More close ties this week, and 128 of you are now through to the 3rd Round (hard luck to US losers!) If you can win 2 more ties, you are in the prizes! And you can remind yourself what amazing prizes they are in the link below the new Cup draw. Round 3 games will be played in Week 26, so Good Luck and if you haven't predicted those scores yet, you have until 7.00pm this Tuesday! Once again, Pls let me know if I've made any mistakes (I did last time! ), atb Ciro
