It was good to see Scotty Parker acknowledged by the football writers this week. I say this not because I am a Hammer, still reeling in the disappointment of being so bad that even Fernando Torres can score against us (I loved his 1-2 with the puddle), but because it's really refreshing for it to go to a player who just seems to love playing - and isn't from one of the big clubs. You won't find Parker taking a dive, handing in an inopportune transfer request, having a ruck outside a night club, being unfaithful or even indulging in a childish rant (The Special One has lot it!). Having said that all of that, Ryan Giggs will always be the all-time model pro won't he?
Some very high scores this week and Andrew Savage posts the 3rd highest winning total of the season with 286 (including 5 spot ons). Appropriate that a Scot should win a week played on St George's Day. Hard luck to Simon Couch who must have thought it was his week. The merry-go-round at the top of the table continues and Lee Honeywood has retaken top spot for now, whilst Julie Wright and Lee Riche move back into the top 10. It's never been closer. Finally, well done to Nathan Jeffrey and Dec Donnelly for reaching the final of the Predictions Cup - they meet in the final in Week 36, Atb Ciro
