It's looking grim for the Geordies - 3 "great" strikers, but I'm sure the manager would have taken one of those chances last night even now. Maybe they need to sign Howard Webb for their last few games. It seems he can do the same job as a £30m striker. TV runs football now, so surely it's time to embrace it? Each manager could ask for upto 3 decisions (like tennis) to be reviewed upstairs by a 4th official (instead of wasting him to hold a board up or get flak for a decision he hasn't made) . Choosing how and when to use their 3 would be a skill in itself. It would add 5 mins to each game, and we wouldn't have to hear Fergie, Wenger or especially Steve Bruce whingeing after..so what's the problem? No problem for Duncan Castle this week as he scorches to the top of the league again with a great score of 212. Can he stay there this time? The £50 goes to Tony Rodrigues for a fine score of 261, one of 13 players to break the 200 pt barrier.
