NB -Only the overall table has been updated, as I'm waiting for the results of 4 games tonight before I update the minileagues. This is mainly a chance to say well done to this week's winner Pete Smith, who posted an impressive score of 250 (bonus assisted). Those 44 bonus pts on offer were also very useful to our leader Kevin as they help him extend his lead.
Have to add that the criticism of Mario Balotelli has been way OTT in my opinion. Sure, the guy is an idiot, and has been a liability at times, but the pundits who are blaming City's collapse totally on him are even bigger idiots. Mancini is clearly looking for a scapegoat, but MB has scored plenty of goals this season - and has contributed far more than the likes of Milner, Johnson, Nasri, Barry, Dzeko and a certain Mr Tevez - and recently as much as the misfiring Silva and Toure (who has not been the same since the African Cup of Nations). Balotelli has always been an idiot but I didn't hear any pundits saying he should be sold when he scored at Old Trafford and City were cruising to the title? - Get a life boys! Atb, Ciro
