WEEK 26 - Theo gets to stay up a bit later on Sunday night

Surely if there was an award for the most inconsistent player in the Premier League it would go to Theo. 2 brilliantly taken goals on Sunday, yet at other times he looks like a 10 year old (literally) with the school bully bearing down in front of him, and his dad shouting at him to shoot from the sidelines.  Many local derbies claim to be the biggest or most passionate, but there is no doubt which has been the most entertaining for the past few years, and this one served up another sizzler.  That's 10 goals this season, 11 last season and who can forget that epic 4-4 draw in 2008. The pundits all agree that Arsenal have consigned Spurs to joining the fight for a Champions league place, rather than the Title.  Whilst I didn't really care who won, I have to say there was some good karma here after what looked an obvious dive from Mr Bale.  I do wish players as talented as him wouldn't resort to that.

It was a tough week in predictions, andwith the Merseyside derby a void game (now rescheduled for Week 28), only 9 games counted towards your score, which is doubtless why no-one managed a 200+ score this week.  Closest was Mark Butler, who wins this week's fifty with a score of 185.  Hard luck to Lyn Fariello who scored 180.  Very little change at the top of the table, though Simon Lindsey and Michael Park enter the top 10.  12 weeks to go now!,Atb, Ciro
