What the hell is going on in the Premier League? Utd put 8 past Arsenal, City put 6 past Utd and now Arsenal score 5 at the Bridge! The combined odds of those 3 results? Since each would have been 100-1 (at least), then a cool Million to 1, and who could have imagined Newcastle unbeaten after 10 games and playing so well? (which idiots agreed to sell Ibrahim Ba on a free transfer!) This time it was Van the Man's turn to do the damage and ensure the Blues had the sort of week most of their newly acquired fans have not yet encountered. Just one comment on the John Terry situation. Far be it from me to pre-judge it, but if someone accuse you of wrongly saying something offensive, wouldn't you reply "I didn't say that"...NOT repeat the offensive phrase! But I doubt the suits at FA will consider this, and you can bet they will fudge the findings as the last thing they want to do is admit there is a real problem.
Onto less serious things (unless of course you are near the top of the table!). With so many goals it was a hard week to predict, which made Peter Adams' 230 all the more impressive (9/10 correct). Only right that the founder of the Adams Family Minileague should win at Halloween! Hard luck to Michael Shand, the only other player to score 200+. Another high scorer is Mark Fox, and his 197 is enough to lift him from 5th to the top of the tree. Richard Pitt and Jordan Mcilwaine are other goods mover into the top 10. Atb, Ciro
